The Dakkala of India

The Dakkala of India, numbering approximately 4,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an indigenous community of India; a dialect subgroup of Telugu (tel) and can also be known as Dhakkada, Dhakkalas, Dhakkado, Dakkal, Dhakoda, Dakkalwar, Dakkali, Dokkalwar, Dakkaliga. They are an Indigenous people, in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Telugu.
