The Juang of India

The Juang of India, numbering approximately 61,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a Scheduled Tribe of Keonjhar and Dhenkanal districts in Odisha speaking the Kolarian Juang language. They traditionally depend on shifting cultivation and forest produce, governed by a secular village council They are an Indigenous people, with Juang as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Juang.
