The Sathwara of India

The Sathwara of India, numbering approximately 89,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a community of northern Gujarat, Saurashtra, and Kutch, some claiming Rajput descent, others descent from Vishwakarma's son, traditionally masons and field laborers. Masonry and agricultural labor remain their principal occupations. They are an Indigenous people in the Gujarati people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Gujarati and their primary religion is Hinduism.
