The Kabui Naga of India

The Kabui Naga of India, numbering approximately 122,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a small Naga group also called Rongmei who trace origin to a cave in Manipur alongside the Zemi and Liangmei, revering the bison. Shifting and wet cultivation remain primary, and they follow their traditional religion. They are an Indigenous people in the Tangsa Naga people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Naga, Rongmei and their primary religion is Protestantism.
