The Kabui Naga of India

The Kabui Naga of India, numbering approximately 122,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a small Naga group also called Rongmei who trace origin to a cave in Manipur alongside the Zemi and Liangmei, revering the bison. Shifting and wet cultivation remain primary, and they follow their traditional religion They are an Indigenous people, with Naga as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Tangsa Naga people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism. They primarily speak Naga, Rongmei.
