The Monpa of India, numbering approximately 151,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a subgroup of the Monpa, an ethnic group originating in northeastern India. They are an Indigenous people, in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Monpa, Tawang.
