The Omanatya of India

The Omanatya of India, numbering approximately 35,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a tribal community of Odisha's Koraput district. The Omanatya speak Odia and use the Odia script. They are organized into two subgroups (Bada and Sana) and traditionally worked as settled cultivators and gatherers of forest produce. They mostly adhere to Folk Hinduism and Odia is their primary language.
