The Bargunda of India

The Bargunda of India, numbering approximately 32,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste occupational community of Madhya Pradesh whose traditional livelihood centers on basketry and mat-weaving. They speak Telugu and are organized into two clans, the Kabadia and the Satpadia. They are an Indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Telugu and their primary religion is Hinduism.
