The Bargunda of India

The Bargunda of India, numbering approximately 32,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste occupational community of Madhya Pradesh whose traditional livelihood centers on basketry and mat-weaving. They speak Telugu and are organized into two clans, the Kabadia and the Satpadia. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Telugu is their primary language.
