The Maring of India, numbering approximately 34,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a tribal community of Naga in Manipur, speaking Maring Naga and traditionally practicing agriculture with clans organized hierarchically. The Maring Naga are now increasingly Christian. They are an Indigenous people in the Tangsa Naga people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Naga, Maring and their primary religion is Protestantism.
