They are a Nilotic ethnolinguistic group indigenous to the Greater Kapoeta region of Eastern Equatoria in South Sudan and can also be known as Topotha. They are an Indigenous people, in the Nilotic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Toposa.
