The Aka of Sudan

The Aka of Sudan, numbering approximately 1,300 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an indigenous Nilotic-speaking people living in the Jebel Silak (Sillok Mountains) region of eastern Sudan, particularly in the Gedaref or Al Qadarif area and can also be known as Fa-c-Aka, Jebels Sillok, Jebel Silak, Sillok, Fa-c-Ala, Aka. They are an Indigenous people, in the Nilotic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Berta.
