The Tigrai of Sudan, numbering approximately 64,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Semitic-speaking ethnic group indigenous to the Tigray Region of northern Ethiopia. They are an Diaspora people, in the Ethio-Semitic people cluster of the Horn of Africa affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Eastern Orthodox. They primarily speak Tigrigna.
