The Tungur of Sudan

The Tungur of Sudan, numbering approximately 360,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a once powerful kingdom in Sudan whose power was eclipsed by the rise of the Fur empire in the seventeenth century and can also be known as Tobanga. They are an Indigenous people, in the Arab, Sudan people cluster of the Arab World affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Arabic, Sudanese.
