They are a diaspora community of Croatian ethnic origin—including immigrants from Croatia and neighboring regions historically inhabited by Croats, as well as their U.S.-born descendants. They are an Diaspora people in the Slav, Southern people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Croatian and their primary religion is Roman Catholicism.
