The Nass-Gitksian of Canada

The Nass-Gitksian of Canada, numbering approximately 7,200 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Tsimshian people of the Nass River valley in northwestern British Columbia whose decades of land-rights advocacy culminated in the 1998 Nisga'a Final Agreement, the province's first modern treaty since the nineteenth century. They mostly adhere to Roman Catholicism and Nisga'a is their primary language.
