The Wakhi of China, numbering approximately 9,600 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an Eastern Iranian ethnic group native to the Pamir Mountains and surrounding high-altitude regions of Central Asia. and can also be known as Khik, Ghujali. They are an Indigenous people in the Tajik people cluster of the Persian-Median Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Wakhi and their primary religion is Shia Islam.
