They are an ethnolinguistic community of Guinea whose name means 'non-Fulbe population of a land governed by Fulbe' and can also be known as Kakabe, Kakkabe. They are an Indigenous people, in the Malinke people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Folk. They primarily speak Kakabe.
