The Dalu of India, numbering approximately 16,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Meghalaya community bordering Bangladesh tracing its origin to an excommunicated Manipuri warrior, historically matrilineal though now patrilineal in inheritance, and increasingly adopting Vaishnavite Hindu practice. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Bengali is their primary language.
