The Adibasi of Nepal

The Adibasi of Nepal, numbering approximately 9,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a tribal community of Nepal. The term Adivasi comes from Sanskrit meaning "original inhabitants" and can also be known as Adivasi. They are an Indigenous people, with Adibasi as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Other Tibeto-Burmese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism. They primarily speak Nepali.
