The Patra of India, numbering approximately 144,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a silk-weaving community of Odisha who migrated to Andhra Pradesh and Bihar, divided into silk cloth weavers and thread-and-tassel makers. Weaving remains their principal occupation, supplemented by petty trade and agricultural labor They are an Indigenous people, with Patra as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Odia people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Odia.
