The Dhyar of India, numbering approximately 11,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small Hindu Scheduled Caste (SC) community of Jammu and Kashmir. The Dhyar traditionally participate and cattle-herding and agriculture. They are an Indigenous people in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Dogri and their primary religion is Hinduism.
