The Bolla of India

The Bolla of India, numbering approximately 246,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Telugu-speaking Hindu community of Andhra Pradesh, also known as Toraga Balija or Telaga, traditionally soldiers in the army of the Hindu ruler of Telangana. Today they are mainly cultivators, agricultural laborers, and businessmen. They are an Indigenous people in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Telugu and their primary religion is Hinduism.
