The Bharathar of India, numbering approximately 53,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a community of India and can also be known as Paravan, Chavalakkaran, Bhartap, Padaiachy, Bharathar. They are an Indigenous people, in the Tamil people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Tamil.
