The Kasikapadi of India

The Kasikapadi of India, numbering approximately 11,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a migrant community from Andhra Pradesh settled in Maharashtra. Traditionally wayfarers who distributed offerings from the Kashi shrine of Lord Vishwanath in exchange for grain and money, most now trade in used clothes and groceries. They are an Indigenous people in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Telugu and their primary religion is Hinduism.
