The Pajabgar of India

The Pajabgar of India, numbering approximately 5,300 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Sunni Muslim community of Bikaner district, Rajasthan. The Pajabgar were brought roughly 350 years ago to do brick work, their name meaning one who makes bricks. Cultivation and camel-rearing have replaced brick-making as their main occupation. They are an Indigenous people in the Rajasthani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Marwari (India) and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
