The Han Chinese (Wu) of Hong Kong, numbering approximately 56,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as an ethnolinguistic subgroup of Han Chinese originating from the Yangtze River area of China's Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu provinces and can also be known as Shanghainese. They are an Diaspora people, with Chinese as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Chinese people cluster of the East Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion. They primarily speak Chinese, Wu.
