The Baga Sitemu of Guinea, numbering approximately 48,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of the larger Baga people of north-western Guinea. The Baga are known for their agricultural and fishing practices. They are also known as Tchitem, Sitemuú, Rio Pongo Baga. They are an Indigenous people in the Atlantic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Baga Sitemu and their primary religion is Folk Islam.
