HOW TO USE THIS SITE

Finding Specific People Group. Enter keywords in the Start Exploring toolbox and press “SUBMIT” to begin search. If you don't see the toolbox, click "find"  to open.

Filtering People Groups. Category filters allow refining the people groups selection. Items selected will be shown in the filter boxes. Multiple items selection provides complex search options.

Exploring the People Group Map

Marker for a people group. The color marker indicates the "Strategic Progress Indicator" (SPI) of a people group. 

People Group Details. Clicking on a people group marker will show you the name, language, population, and a picture of the people group. Clicking the name of the people group will take you to the people group details page.

Selecting a View (Maps, Lists, or Photos)

Click the menu in the green bar to switch to a different view. The filtering options will carry from one view to another. Click "more"  to further refine your query or combine more complex search options and filters.

KEYS & DEFINITIONS

People group – a group of people sharing a common ethnic identity and language.

Unreached People Group – a people group is unreached when less than two percent of its population is evangelical Christian.

Engaged People Group – a people group is engaged when a church planting strategy, consistent with Evangelical faith and practice, is under implementation. It is not engaged when it has been merely adopted, is the object of focused prayer or is part of an advocacy strategy.

Unengaged and Unreached People Groups – a people group with less than two percent evangelical among whom there is no indigenous community of evangelical Christians nor outside church or mission group implementing a church planting strategy.
